We are a conservative Baptist church established in 1854.
It is our desire to remain true to the fundamentals of the faith. We believe in ~ the authenticity and authority of the Bible ~ the virgin birth of Jesus Christ ~ the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit. ~ the deity of Jesus; He is fully God and fully man at the same time. ~ the salvation through faith in Christ alone. You will find the best parking in the back lot off of Union Street. Most people enter the church at the basement level off of the back parking lot. We have handicapped parking on our Church Street side close to the front of the church. We do not have a dress code, but modesty is never out of style. We have people who dress casually as well as those who dress more formally for worship. Please do not hesitate to come and worship with us if you think you do not have the "right kind of clothing". We will never turn you away. We do have a nursery during service for toddlers up to first grade* for those parents who do desire to allow their children that opportunity. Any parent who wishes to keep their child with them during worship is welcome to do so. Should you have any questions regarding our worship or beliefs please call our office. If no one is available, please leave a message. *For the child older than first grade level - we ask that this be limited for the sake of the volunteer. |
